CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

  • Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of Keystone’s mortgage portfolio, servicing functions, enforcement activities, regulatory administration, and Mortgage Automator platform administration.

    This role serves as the operational lead for borrower management throughout the lifecycle of each mortgage, including loan servicing, renewals, delinquency management, legal coordination, enforcement oversight, licensing administration, and operational reporting.

    The Operations Manager will work closely with underwriting, accounting, legal counsel, brokers, compliance providers, regulators, and investors to ensure that Keystone’s portfolio is managed efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with internal policies, regulatory obligations, and risk management standards.

    While the primary focus of this role is operations and servicing, the successful candidate must possess strong underwriting knowledge and may assist with underwriting and deal analysis during periods of elevated volume.

    This position requires a highly organized and solutions-oriented individual with strong mortgage industry experience, operational leadership skills, and the ability to manage sensitive borrower and enforcement situations professionally.

RYAN MACNEIL
CO-FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Ryan has extensive experience in private lending, including arranging over 1,800 private mortgages in Atlantic Canada, totalling over $360M in mortgage funding. Through prior experience and education (B.Sc. Engineering, MBA) Ryan’s skillset includes sales, account management, problem solving and analytics. He has established strong connections with mortgage brokers in Atlantic Canada and was recognized by Canadian Mortgage Professionals magazine as a "Rising Star" in the mortgage industry.

ZACK MUIR
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR, CREDIT & RISK

Zack has a strong background in residential and commercial lending. He worked as an underwriter at CIBC, Manulife Bank before joining True North Mortgage as a successful mortgage broker. Most recently, Zack led the underwriting team at Atlantic Canada’s largest private lender. Zack's experience as both an Underwriter and Broker allow him to make efficient and informed decisions when evaluating financing opportunities.

NEAL ANDREINO
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR, INVESTOR RELATIONS

Neal has a diverse background in entrepreneurship, investment, and real estate. He started multiple businesses while studying Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University. Soon after he became a top-producing realtor with RE/MAX Nova while accumulating over 100 residential units in his portfolio. Neal is also the host of the Master Keys Podcast and the Co-Founder of the MKR GROUP.

SAMUEL HORSMAN
MORTGAGE ANALYST

Sam brings a strong background in residential mortgage lending, having worked as a Mortgage Broker in Nova Scotia. During his time in the industry, he assisted a wide range of clients—from first-time homebuyers to real estate investors—by structuring customized financing solutions across both traditional and private lending channels. Sam's hands-on experience with credit analysis, document review, and client advisory allows him to assess deals with a practical, solutions-focused mindset. His transition into mortgage underwriting is supported by a deep understanding of lender guidelines, risk assessment, and the end-to-end mortgage process.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Erin leads all adminstrative activities for the Keystone team as Executive Assistant. Prior to joining Keystone, Erin worked as an Executive Assistant with Bulk Barn Foods for 7+ years. Outside of work, Erin is a competitive figure skater, and recently traveled to Germany to compete for Canada!
